In this prayer of Moses he addresses the Lord as Creator. In it Moses describes the vast difference between God's transcendence and Man's transience. This Psalm is referred to by 3 New Testament writers, and phrases from this well known Psalm are frequently quoted by God's people today.

These two Psalms were written during the Babylonian captivity. The temple, Jerusalem and God's people are all downtrodden. The Psalmists recall the Creator's power and plead that He restore His place, His people and His name to its proper exalted position in the world.

Dr. Scripture interviews Dr. Jerry Pattengale, the man responsible for putting together the largest collection of Biblical manuscripts in the world, the Green Collection, much of which is displayed at the Bible Museum.
